Resolution - Public Transit Services: Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Public Transportation Master Grant Agreement, between the City of Lubbock and the Texas Department of Transportation, to provide for efficient and effective contract administration required by state and federal laws, regarding federal funds to Citibus.
Item Summary
Master Grant Agreement #MGA-2022-2026-LUBBOCK-046 states the general terms and conditions for grant projects between the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and all subrecipients, including the City of Lubbock.  The Master Grant Agreement that will be used for all TxDOT grants that are executed each year.    The Master Grant Agreement will provide for efficient and effective contract administration required by state and federal laws for certain contract standards relating to the management and administration of state and federal funds. This contract will become effective when signed by the last party whose signing makes the agreement fully executed, and will remain in effect until August 31, 2026.
Fiscal Impact
When funds are available from any of the programs administered by TxDOT, specific grant agreements will be filed.
