Item Summary

This maintenance contract includes mowing, edging, trimming, litter and debris disposal, and cleanup along with photographic documentation for the Stormwater Detention Basin located at 5850 98th Street, Day Estates, Tract D, Lubbock, Texas. This contract will include seven total mowings from approximately April through October. The contract shall be for a term of one year, with the option of four, one-year extensions.   In response to ITB 22-16575-YB, three vendors submitted bids on June 23, 2022, and were as follows:   Contractor Amount Center Point, Shallowater, TX $10,325 Cleaning Services of Lubbock, Farwell, TX $20,650 Erlys Janitorial Services, Lubbock, TX $19,880   Staff recommends award to the lowest bidder, Center Point, for $10,325 annually.

Fiscal Impact

This contract amount of $51,625 over 5 years ($10,325 annually) is funded in the Operating budget of Cost Center 6511, Stormwater Utility.
