The City issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for this contract for removal of pavement markings and striping for 19th Street and Milwaukee Avenue, 34th Street and Milwaukee Avenue, and any other streets which will be re-striped to a different lane configuration. In response to ITB 23-17370-YB, two bids were received and opened on June 27, 2023. They were as follows:   Contractor Amount TRP Construction Group, LLC, Lubbock, Texas $65,500 Traffic Highway Maintenance, Cedar Hill, Texas $102,000 Staff recommends award of the contract to the lowest bidder, TRP Construction Group, LLC of Lubbock, Texas, for $65,500. The contract will be for a term of one year, with the option of 2, one-year extensions, said date of term beginning upon formal approval. All stated annual quantities are approximations of usage during the time period to be covered by pricing established by this bid.  Actual usage may be more or less. Order quantities will be determined by actual need. The City of Lubbock does not guarantee any specific amount of compensation, volume, minimum, or maximum amount of services under this bid and resulting contract.

Fiscal Impact

Contract 17370 for $65,500, is funded in Capital Improvement Project 92742, Traffic Signal 21-22 25-26.
