The 2024 Freightliner M2016, Tandem Axle, Cab and Chassis Truck will replace a 2010 International Crew Truck that is in need of extensive repairs and now past its useful life. The total cost of this purchase will be $107,857. In response to ITB-16651, one bid was received and opened on July 12, 2022.   Contractor Amount Lubbock Truck Sales, Lubbock, Texas $107,857 After reviewing the sole bid, Fleet Staff recommends award to the only bidder who met all specifications, Lubbock Truck Sales of Lubbock, Texas.

Fiscal Impact

The total cost of $107,857 is funded in Capital Improvement Project 92724, the Water/ Wastewater Vehicle Replacement Fund for Fiscal Year 2021-22.
