Declare two appointments by the Mayor to the Lubbock Housing Authority Board of Commissioners: Ayda Chapa and Amanda Gray.
Item Summary
Per Local Government Code, Section 392.031, the presiding officer of the governing body of a municipality shall appoint persons to serve as commissioners of the housing authority. An appointed commissioner of the housing authority may not be an officer or employee of the municipality. The Mayor is appointing Ayda Chapa and Amanda Gray.
