Resolution - Public Health Services:
Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) Cost Reimbursement Subaward Agreement UTAUS-SUB00001039, and all related documents, by and between the City of Lubbock and the University of Texas at Austin, under the Health and Human Services Commission Substance Abuse Innovative Healing Centered Projects (IHCP) Grant Program.
Item Summary
The purpose of this Grant Agreement is to provide the Grantee, in an administrative capacity, the ability to develop, implement, manage, and evaluate the Substance Abuse Innovative Healing Centered Projects Program (SA/IHCP), to promote resiliency, social and community connectedness, and healing, for individuals at risk for substance misuse.
The Grant Agreement is effective on the signature date of the latter of the parties to sign this agreement, and it terminates August 31, 2025. A budget amendment was passed by the City Council on August 8, 2023.
Fiscal Impact
The total of this Agreement will not exceed $775,413.62.
Year 1, March 1, 2023, through August 31, 2023, will not exceed $134,908.32.
Year 2, September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2024, will not exceed $320,252.65
Year 3, September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025, will not exceed $320,252.65
