Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 2 to Contract 14966, with Garver, LLC, for North Water Treatment Plant Ground Storage Construction Phase Services.
Item Summary
On March 24, 2020, Garver, LLC was awarded Contract 14966, to design the replacement tank at the North Water Treatment Plant.
On August 24, 2021, the City Council approved Amendment No. 1 to Contract 14966. This amendment authorized Garver, LLC, to provide Construction Phase Professional Engineering Services, including Engineer of Record (EOR) and Resident Project Representative (RPR) services. These services increased the base contract by $193,342 and provided an additional 515 days to complete the services.
Amendment No. 2 to this contract will extend their services an additional 8 months with no additional fee. Due to unforeseen delays in construction, this amendment will extend construction phase services to include close out documents and record drawings.
