Resolution - Right-of-Way: Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept, for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, a Dedication Deed, in connection with certain real property located in Tract “A-1”, a replat of Tract “A”, Animal Shelter Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, to be utilized for street, curb, gutter, sidewalk, drainage right-of-way, public utilities, and other public purposes.

Item Summary

The City of Lubbock is re-platting Tract “A”, Lubbock Animal Shelter Addition. This involves adding a 50’ X 532’ strip of land along the west side of the parcel and a 75’ X 478’ strip of land along the north side. This additional land will allow for the construction of additional pens and a site security fence. The Lubbock Animal Shelter is located on the north side of Southeast Loop 289 between Guava Avenue and Southeast Drive.  Please refer to the dedication deed, exhibit, and map for additional information.
