Resolution - Right-of-Way:
Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept, for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, one (1) Street, Public Use, and Right-of-Way Deed, and all related documents, in connection with certain real property located in Section 2, Block JS, Lubbock County, Texas (Parcel 7), to be utilized for the Milwaukee Avenue: 4th Street to North City Limits 2022 Road Bond Project.
Item Summary
With the widening of Milwaukee Avenue from 4th Street to the North City Limits, the following street dedication will allow for the construction of the arterial.
Sorelle Partners, IV, LP, a Texas limited partnership, is dedicating right-of-way to the City of Lubbock. The proponents will dedicate 730 square feet of land for street right-of-way purposes, for $3,000 plus closing costs.
Fiscal Impact
The cost of the land acquisition is $3,000 plus closing costs, and is funded by Capital Improvements Project 92819, Milwaukee Avenue from 4th Street to the North City Limits.
