Staff issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the rebuild in concrete of several streets in the North Overton Tax Increment Financing District (TIF). This project will include the rebuilding of Avenue R from Glenna Goodacre Boulevard to 10th Street, Avenue R from Mac Davis Lane to Glenna Goodacre Boulevard, Avenue U from 7th Street to Glenna Goodacre Boulevard, Avenue V from Glenna Goodacre Boulevard to 9th Street, and various locations on the 2000 block of Mac Davis Lane.
In response to ITB 24-18219-TF, four bids were received. The following bids were received and opened on August 2, 2024.

Staff recommends award of Contract 18219 to the lowest bidder, West Infrastructure Construction, LLC, of Lubbock, Texas for $871,187.15. The contract is for a term of 65 calendar days to substantial completion, and 70 days to final completion. |
