Resolution - City Manager: Consider a resolution ratifying the actions of the City Manager in executing an agreement with Strategic Government Resources (SGR), for Interim Police Chief services.

Item Summary

This agreement allows SGR to provide to the City of Lubbock an Interim Police Chief.  The length of the contract will be solely dependent on the City’s timing and ability to hire a permanent Chief of Police.

Fiscal Impact

The Fiscal Impact of this action is calculated at $125 per hour, which is the budgeted salary, plus the benefits cost assigned to the Chief of Police position.  The City will also be responsible for certain travel and lodging requirements for the Interim Police Chief.
