TO: Honorable Mayor and Members of the Common Council FROM: Julie Calmes, Finance Director DATE: November 12, 2024 SUBJECT: Res 24-591 Approve Financing for the 2025 Capital Improvement Projects

BACKGROUND

Attached is a resolution to approve financing for the 2025 Capital Improvement Projects for the City of Oshkosh.  The resolution includes “Projects & Funding Sources By Department.”  The attached summary documents reflect direction provided by the Council following their recent budget workshops, including identifying $7.7 million in General Obligation ("G.O.") borrowing for yet to be determined facility project(s) for the Fire Department in 2025. The summary includes projects for 2025 through 2034. However, the Council is only being asked to approve the funding for the 2025 projects. Funding for subsequent years’ projects will be requested as part of the subsequent years’ budgets. Please contact me if you have any additional questions.

RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that Council consider the attached Resolution
