CITIZEN STATEMENTS TO COUNCIL Lynn Thill 2445 Noel Ct, Oshkosh On January 11th, a water main break compromised the sewage system, resulting in sewage in her and her neighbor’s basements. Ms. Thill feels the city’s insurance company is not responding to their claims promptly. City Attorney Lorenson told Ms. Thill that she only saw the claim yesterday and was emailing the insurance adjuster now. Ms. Thill hopes the insurance company will cover the cost of the damage caused by this break. Deb Martin 164 Wyldewood Drive, Oshkosh Ms. Martin addressed the council and thanked them for taking an active interest in the housing shortage in Oshkosh. Martin hopes to see continued support of the Tenant Resource Center, which helps tenants and landlords better communicate and share the resources that are available to all. |

Approve the Purchase of Lighting Poles and Fixtures from Enterprise Lighting LTD for the Central Street Reconstruction Project 25-08 ($42,845.60) Councilor Larson asked Transportation Director Collis to explain how citizens can replace lampposts. There are three ways citizens can replace decorative lampposts if it is in an area the city owns: 1. If a road reconstruction project happens, the cost is budgeted. 2. If the pole is damaged, the responsible party (or insurance) will cover 3. If there is no insurance, and if it is in the CPI budget, the partial cost will be paid. |
