Ord 25-476 Amend Section 27A-11 of the Municipal Code pertaining to parking regulations on Washington Avenue
BACKGROUND
The Downtown Oshkosh YMCA has outgrown their current off-street parking lots. They are in the process of expanding their parking lot. However, that project will take at least a year. The YMCA has inquired if it is possible to remove the timed parking restriction in this area of Washington Avenue.
ANALYSIS
Neighboring businesses have no objection to removing the 2-hour restriction.
BOARD/COMMISSION INFORMATION
Transportation Committee recommends approval.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact on the removal of signage.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the request.
