| MAYOR AND COUNCIL REPORTS ON CURRENT EVENTS |

Vice Mayor Barrett reported that she and other Councilmembers had attended the Happy Joe's Pizza and Ice Cream ribbon cutting, held on March 30, 2026. Councilmember Murphy congratulated the Oro Valley Police Department and the Golder Ranch Fire District for their collaboration and quick action in performing high-quality CPR with an AED, and life-saving care of the patient. The quick actions of the two Oro Valley Police Officers and the two Golder Ranch Fire Station Crews made the life-saving outcome possible. Councilmember Robb reported that she and several other Councilmembers had attended the Oro Valley Chamber's 2026 Annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast, where attendees were able to meet local nonprofits in the community. Councilmember Jones-Ivey encouraged citizens to volunteer and participate in Amphi School Districts Project Graduation's upcoming events and fundraisers. Vice Mayor Barrett reported that she and other Councilmembers had attended the Marana State of the Town, which was held on April 2, 2026. Councilmember Greene encouraged citizens to pick up a copy of the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce 2026 Business Directory and Visitor's Guide. Mayor Winfield reported that he and other Councilmembers had attended the Oro Valley Police Department's Drug Awareness Day, held on March 27, 2026. Mayor Winfield expressed his appreciation to all those who had helped make the event happen. |
