We will be joined by the Mayor of San Antonio and members of the San Antonio City Council in honoring the proud legacy, traditions, and continued service of the U.S. Army. Since its founding in 1775, the Army has played a pivotal role in securing American freedom, responding to national and global crises, and defending the country's interests at home and abroad. This milestone honors the legacy of sacrifice, resilience, and commitment of millions of soldiers, past and present, while highlighting the Army’s continued evolution and readiness to face future challenges.
