Comm. Palacios:
We received that attached request from the Texas Department of Criminal
Justice-M. Segovia Unit to access County-owned property (i.e. track of land
east of Segovia Unit acquired by Pct. #4'd-drainage improvements project)
for canine training purposes.  We erroneously understood the request to
refer to the Law Enforcement Center property, but Capt. Arce from the
Sheriff's Office called today and advised us to the contrary.  Please advise
as to any objections or concerns you may have to this request.  I will
forward the documentation to the Hon. Steve Crain for his review and
comment. After your response, I will proceed to place on CC agenda for
action.
