Resolution - Public Health Services: Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Vector Control Service Agreement, by and between the City of Lubbock and Lubbock County, Texas, and related documents.
Item Summary
The interlocal agreement will allow for the provision of vector control services to Lubbock County, outside the city limits of Lubbock. The City agrees to provide treatment of playas and recurring water sources as needed, and 6 applications of an ultra low-volume adulticide, using truck-mounted applicators.
A one-time payment of $169,293.00 from Lubbock County to the City of Lubbock, will be paid to share operational and maintenance expenses. If additional applications are required, the County shall pay the direct cost for each additional application.

The City will receive $169,293.00 in revenue from Lubbock County.
