The U.S. Government wish to license for real property at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport near 5601 N. Walnut Avenue for the Next Generation Weather Radar (NEXRAD) system. The license begins January 1, 2023, and ends December 31, 2043. The U.S. Government shall pay Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport no monetary consideration in the form of rent. The U.S. Government may use the premises for any lawful purpose such as installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and replacing its equipment for the NEXRAD system as may be necessary in order to carry out the U.S. Government's mission.
