Resolution - Police: Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Contract No. 16595 between the City of Lubbock and Galls, LLC, for Police Uniforms.
Item Summary
With the current uniform contract expiring, the decision was made to put out an Invitation to Bid and see what was available. From the 3 that responded, Galls, LLC submitted a contract quote significantly lower than our current provider. The benefits to change to Galls, LLC, would be fiscal as well as they have an easier ordering process for our staff, being web based rather than an order form to be emailed.
