Resolution - Engineering: Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Public Works Contract 16919, Unpaved Road Improvements C.O. Phase 2 Project, by and between the City of Lubbock and Lone Star Dirt & Paving, Ltd.
Item Summary
This project will improve various dirt roads with asphalt pavement. The main components of the project will include construction of approximately 13,075 linear feet of curb and gutter and 25,485 square yards of asphalt pavement. Roads selected for improvements include portions of North Raleigh Avenue, 25th Street, East 47th Street, East 60th Street, Redwood Avenue, North Tulip Avenue, North Turmeric Avenue, East Rice Street, East Broadway Avenue, Keel Avenue, Magnolia Avenue, East 74th Street, North Zenith Avenue, and Kapok Avenue. These improvements are being funded through the Certificate of Obligation bonds approved by the City Council in 2021.
