As stated in Resolution No. 2009-R0198, "The City Council of the City of Lubbock shall designate the Chair and Vice-Chairperson from the appointed members of the Lubbock Water Advisory Commission." Jay House is the current Chair and Steve Verett is the current Vice-Chair. Jay House has served as Chair since 2023 and Steve Verett has served as Vice-Chair since 2023.
The Staff liaison is recommending Theodore Cleveland to be appointed as Chair and Jay House to be appointed as Vice-Chair.
