Information Agenda Item Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request for the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to apply for a grant to aid in the community spay and neuter clinics for dogs and cats from the ASPCA. Background The citizens of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Hutto, Leander, and Williamson County are in great need of low cost spay and neuter services for their cats and dogs. This grant will be written with community partners, such as Animal Balance, to provide 600 spay and neuter surgeries to aid in the reduction of unplanned litters of kittens and puppies.
