Professional Services Agreement No. AI2501.201, with Dibble & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc., for Hangar Area Pavement Reconstruction Design Services

Proposed Motion:

Move City Council award Professional Services Agreement No. AI2501.201 to Dibble & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc., for the Hangar Area Pavement Reconstruction Design Services, for an amount not to exceed $328,578.

Background/Discussion:

The contract scope of work includes design services, development of construction documents, and specified bidding services for grading and paving improvements intended to promote reconstructing the hangar taxilane pavement and drainage away from the city-owned hangars located at the Chandler Municipal Airport.

A hangar area pavement assessment was completed in 2023, which included design recommendations for grading and paving improvements. This project is the result of the report's findings.

The project scope of work consists of civil engineering design services. The agreement completion time is 365 calendar days following Notice to Proceed.

Evaluation:

The selection process was conducted in accordance with city policy and procedure and state law. This project is being performed under the On-Call Consultant Pre-Qualified List for Airport Services. Staff recommends approval of this agreement with Dibble & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc., based on qualifications, relevant firm experience, team experience, project understanding, and project approach.
