An Ordinance Authorizing Advances And Transfers Between Various Funds Of The City Of Huber Heights, Ohio And Amending Ordinance No. 2021-O-2511 By Making Supplemental Appropriations For Expenses Of The City Of Huber Heights, Ohio For The Period Beginning January 1, 2022 And Ending December 31, 2022. Purpose and Background
The supplemental appropriations are for the following purposes:
- Remove the $290,000 advance from Gasoline Tax Fund to Capital Improvement Fund approved by Council in July - Record $290,000 advance so it is now from Gasoline Tax Fund to Lexington Place TIF Fund (will be repaid from future TIF revenues as they are available) - Transfer $290,000 from Lexington Place TIF Fund to Capital Improvement Fund for Chambersburg Road widening west of Old Troy Pike - $295,000 reduction of General Fund personnel expense accounts for positions that were budgeted but not filled - $295,000 transfer of personnel savings in General Fund to the Water Utility Reserve Fund for additional water main replacement design work - $180,000 for landscaping revitalization plan - $70,000 for repair and replacement of roadway guardrail - $13,520 for reimbursement of insurance check for a fire deposit (matched by receipt of the insurance check)
