NOTICE OF MEETING CITY OF GARLAND, TEXAS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A meeting of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Garland, Texas will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 200 North Fifth Street, in the City Council Chamber, Garland, Texas.
A pre-meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 200 North Fifth Street, in the Work Session Room, Garland, Texas. The agenda for the pre-meeting is the same as for the regular meeting, and may include additional items as set forth below. INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: It is the custom and tradition of the members of the Board of Adjustment to have an invocation and recital of the Pledge of Allegiance prior to the beginning of the meeting. Members of the audience are invited to participate. However, members of the audience are not required to participate. The decision to participate is strictly a matter of personal choice and has no bearing on matters to be considered by the Board of Adjustment and will not affect the decisions to be made during the meeting. |

A. | 22-MA-00016 – 155 S International Rd. Robert Cocat representing Rambo Ventures Company LT, the owner of Lot 1, Block, 1, 4 Way Development 1 Subdivision, more commonly known as 115 S. International Rd., is requesting permission to build four, 6 ft. tall rolling chain link gates 5'1", 5'9", 6'4" and 12'7", respectively, from the property lines of this Industrial (IN) zoned property. Section 4.105(C) of the Garland Development Code (GDC) states gates for vehicular use must be a minimum of twenty feet from the property line for all types of property other than single-family or two-family residential. A variance is required to allow the applicant to construct the four, rolling chain link gates less than twenty feet from the property line. |
