New Feature – City Public Records Request Portal
The records you are looking for may already be available online! In order to improve transparency and provide faster access to City records, we have established a Public Records Request Portal where you can find responses to most previous records requests dating back to 01/01/2016. If the records you seek are already available online, you can access them with the click of a mouse. Before submitting a records request, try searching our portal to see if what you are looking for is already available.
Click on “Reports”
Click on “Custom Report”
Insert a date range (beginning 01/01/16)
Enter keyword(s)
Click “Detail” and then “Go”
The blue links are the responsive records and are downloadable.
Things you should know before submitting a Public Records Request

Please read the following information before submitting your request:
To expedite the completion of your request, please select the appropriate request type by selecting "COURT" for
ALL
Municipal Court records, or "GENERAL" for all other requests.
Any personally identifiable information submitted to the City of SeaTac’s public records portal may be subject to disclosure in accordance with the Washington State Public Records Act, Chapter 42.56 RCW.
When describing the records you are requesting,
do not
include social security numbers, birth dates, or other sensitive private information in the description data field as this will be publicly available on the web. If you have any concerns, please contact us at 206.973.4663 to explain the parameters of your request or provide additional details.
Please be as specific as possible when describing the records you are requesting. For example, dates and/or times, addresses, parcel numbers, or City staff who may have been involved, this information can help us conduct a faster search (and usually a quicker response time), and assist us in locating exactly what it is you are looking for.
You are not required to explain why you want the records you are requesting. However, this information can help us when we process your request.
Please tell us if you have an upcoming deadline. Although we may not be able to help you meet it, we will do our best to accommodate.
When creating your portal account, please include a telephone number where we can reach you. This allows us to contact you with any questions we have pertaining to your request. Your contact information will not be published to the external web.
If necessary, you will be contacted through your portal account or by phone for additional information in order to clarify/identify the records you are seeking.
If you have reasons for requesting anonymity in submitting your request, do not submit your request online. Please contact us by phone at 206.973.4663 or in person so we can discuss the situation and provide you with options.
