BACKGROUND
On March 18, 2016 bid packets were mailed out to area vendors. Bids were opened on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 2 pm.

ANALYSIS
The lowest responsible bidder was Calabrain Corporation in Port Neches, TX.
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to award Bid # 2016-006 Sodium Bisulfite Annual Contract to Calabrian Corporation and that the Mayor is authorized to execute contracts on behalf of the City Commission.
