BACKGROUND
On March 17, 2016 bid packets were mailed out to area vendors. Bids were opened on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 2 pm.

ANALYSIS
The lowest responsible bidder was Brenntag Southwest, Inc. in Houston TX.
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to award Bid # 2016-007 Sodium Hypochlorite Solution Annual Contract to Brenntag Southwest, Inc. and that the Mayor is authorized to execute the contract on behalf of the City Commission.
