Consider and take action on Ordinance No. 16-17, amending the City of Texas City's Fiscal Year 2015-16 Budget to appropriate additional funds for dike maintenance and improvement expenses. (Finance)

A budget amendment is needed to appropriate additional funds for dike maintenance and improvement expenses.

An additional $20,000 is needed for routine dike maintenance, trash pickup, etc.  An additional $50,000 is needed for completion of a shrimp boat pier. An additional $151,000 is needed for various dike area park improvements (see attached listing from Rec & Tour).

Funds will come from the Texas City Dike Fund undesignated fund balance.
