ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 16-074, authorizing the Galveston County Sheriff to auction Tax Foreclosed Properties pursuant to Texas Property Tax Code 34.05. (Management Services)
BACKGROUND
The Property In Trust (PIT) Committee authorized Linebarger, et. al. to periodically re-post property that did not sell at an initial Sheriff sale for a second Sheriff sale with a discounted rate - roughly 20%. Mark Ciavaglia has requested the list of attached properties to go back for another Sheriff Sale.
