Consider and take action on Resolution No. 16-02, approving an agreement with Cobb Fendly to survey Shoal Point.

The TCEDC and City have been working with a number of agencies and groups with Shoal Point property.  Items include having navigational servitude designation removed from some of the land the City and State own, but requires the US Army Corps of Engineers to review how it is utilized and requiring permits.  Also, final agreements for easements and boundaries for the our property and the State have never been done.  We are discussing potential tenants and we will need to work cooperatively with the state and the need for the survey is necessary.  The total cost should not exceed $26,000.  Attached is the agreement, but it is under review by city attorney.
