ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution 16-03,ratifying expenditures for a fence on TCEDC property, located at 2301 25th Avenue North, Texas City,Texas, 2201 25th Avenue North, Texas City, Texas and 2211 25th Avenue North, Texas City, Texas.
BACKGROUND
The wooden fence surrounding the TCEDC properties located at 2201, 2211, and 2301 25th Ave. N had fallen into disrepair. Many of the sections had been damaged or fallen over as a result of age and weather conditions. For this reason, and to enhance the property visually, TCEDC maintenance funds were spent to replace the fence. The initial cost of the fence totaled $8,625.12. Additionally, the decision was later made to further extend the east side of the fence to delineate the TCEDC properties from the adjacent property. The total cost of the extension was $922.45 for a total project cost of $9,547.57.
