ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution 17-001, approving a contract for Pound Limestone Bedding and 36 Inch Limestone Riprap. (Public Works)
BACKGROUND
On December 22, 2016 the Notice To Bidders was published in the Galveston County Daily News and bid packets were mailed out accordingly.
The bids were open on January 5, 2017.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bid meeting all specifications was received from Gulf Coast Limestone, Inc. in Seabrook, TX., for the unit prices bid.
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to award the contract for Bid # 2017-020 90 Pound Limestone Bedding and 36 Inch Riprap to Gulf Coast Limestone Inc. for the unit prices bid and that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
