ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the City of Texas City’s fiscal year 2016-2017 budget.
BACKGROUND
A budget amendment is needed to purchase a new vehicle for the City Marshal. The marshal has been driving a used vehicle that has surpassed its useful life.
The new vehicle will be a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe with the police package. Cost is approximately $51,100.
Funding from the capital equipment replacement fund unassigned fund balance.
