Consider and take action on Resolution No. 17-071, approving an annual contract for sludge disposal from the Wastewater Treatment Plant. (Public Works)
BACKGROUND
On September 20, 2017, the request for bidders was advertised and packets were sent out. Bids were opened October 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bidder meeting all specifications was received from Republic Services, in Houston, for the unit prices bid.
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to award an annual contract for Bid # 2017-035 Sludge Disposal from Wastewater Treatment Plant, to Republic Services, in Houston, for the unit prices bid, and that the Mayor is authorized to execute the contract on behalf of the City Commission.
