BACKGROUND
The Notice To Bidders for Bid # 2020-385 FM 3436 Water Line Extension was published in The Daily News on July 21st, and July 28th, 2020, and bid packets were made available via CivCast to local area vendors.
Bids were opened on August 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m..
The lowest responsible bidder meeting all of the qualifications was, G & A Boring Directional, LLC., for the total bid amount of $155.555.00.

ANALYSIS
It is the recommendation of the City Engineer and ARKK Engineers, LLC., to award bid number 2020-385 FM 3436 Water Line Extension to G & A Boring Directional, LLC. for the total bid amount of $155,555.00, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
It is further requested that the Mayor be authorized to approve any change order, not to exceed 25% of the contract amount, without bringing the matter before the City Commission.
