ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 20-129, approving the purchase and installation of a new ornamental fence for Heritage Square Park from Foster Fence, LTD through BuyBoard (Contract No. 577-18), a local government purchasing cooperative.
BACKGROUND
The fence will replace the existing wooden picket fence that is located around the Historic Homes at Heritage Square. The existing fence will be replaced with 1,510’ of 3’ High ornamental iron MMI secure weld Monroe 2 rail flat top with 2” square post.
ANALYSIS
It is the recommendation of the Parks, Recreation and Tourism department to award purchase and installation of a new ornamental fence for Heritage Square Park from Foster Fence Buyboard (contract # 577-18) in the amount of $56,209. Funds are available in the FY 2020-21 budget.
