ACTION REQUEST
Approve the purchase and replacement of the generators at both rainwater pump stations.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The generators at both pump stations are approximately 40 years old and should be replaced. Attached you will find a quote for each from Land and Sea Services a BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative member that we have used successfully many times via contract # 657-21. Pump Station A is an 80KW and replacement will cost $112,500.00 Pump Station B is a 100KW and replacement will cost $137,500.00 Funds are made available for this purchase via the City of Texas City 2022/2023 Annual Budget.
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department that the replacement of these two generators, by Land and Sea, be approve for the amounts listed. Thank you.
