RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends City Council accept the donation of $5,000 from Bill and Ann Cole to be used for an art piece to be placed on the Skyline Trail. See attached picture.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The funds to purchase artwork were donated by Bill and Ann Cole to be placed along the Skyline trail. This is the third of three pieces that have been donated. The art was approved by the Parks Board. A concrete pad has already been installed during construction as a location for art to be placed along the Skyline trail.
ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Approve; or,
- Not Approve
FISCAL EFFECTS
If Council accepts the $5,000 donation, the art piece will be placed along Skyline trail.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends City Council accept the art piece.
