RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that City Council accept the donation from Youth Volunteer Corps in the amount of $700.00 for training reimbursement.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator for PRPL attended two days of training, October 18th and 19th 2024, at the Youth Volunteer Corps Summit in Virginia Beach, VA for professional development. Training focused on developing youth leaders and programming for service learning to support the volunteer initiative within Billings Parks & Recreation. The conference also included networking opportunities with other organizations in the Youth Volunteer Corps network, learning from program directors and youth leaders.

FISCAL EFFECTS
This will help cover the costs of the training, travel, and lodging costs with no additional impact on the FY25 budget.
