PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
The purpose of the project is to construct a pedestrian bridge across the railroad tracks at 25th Street.
The project bids were opened on May 20, 2014. Staff is recommending delaying the bid award until the next Council meeting to allow time to evaluate the bids.

- Delay award of WO 11-10 25th Street Pedestrian Bridge; or
- Reject bids for WO 11-10 25th Street Pedestrian Bridge.

The project funding comes from CTEP with a local match from various organizations. There is no City funding on this project. CTEP has set aside additional funds if the bid is more than the original budget.

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Council delay the award of WO 11-10 25th Street Pedestrian Bridge until it's next meeting; June 9.
