PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
SID 1399 Lake Hills Subdivision 25th Filing, will construct improvements on Lake Heights Drive and Ditton Drive. These improvements generally consist of water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, curb and gutter, and street improvements.
Mayor and Council are asked to consider authorizing and executing a Contract for Professional Services with Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, Inc. to provide engineering design and construction administration for SID 1399. The contract is in the amount of $185,000. Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, Inc. was selected based on proposals requested from a list of prequalified consultants for this type of work.

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may:
- Approve the professional services contract with Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson, or;
- Disapprove the professional services contract with Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson. If not approved, another option will have to be considered for design and construction administration for SID 1399.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The professional services contract with Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson is in the amount of $185,000 and will be paid out of the SID funds.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve the professional services contract with Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson for SID 1399 in the amount of $185,000.
