PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
W.O. 16-10; 14th Street West Storm Drain Replacement, is a project that will replace the existing collapsed storm drain main in 14th Street West from Grand Avenue to Lewis Avenue.
The project was advertised on May 11th and May 18th in the Billings Times and on the City's website. Bids were opened on May 23, 2017 and six bids were received. COP Construction submitted the lowest responsible bid.

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
The Council may:
- Award Work Order 16-10; 14th Street West Storm Drain Replacement to COP Construction in the amount of $293,902; or
- Do not award Work Order 16-10. If not awarded, the City would need to re-bid or cancel the project and reconstruct the storm drain main in a subsequent year. Flooding of the street could result due to the collapsed pipe.
