RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council accept the $6,000 donation from Big Sky Economic Development to go towards the NRDP Challenge grant awarded for Coulson Park.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
Big Sky Economic Development Authority (BSEDA) is donating $6,000 toward the Natural Resource Damage Program (NRDP) challenge grant awarded to Coulson Park. These funds will be used for future phases of development of Coulson Park as outlined in the Coulson Park Master Plan approved by Council on March 23, 2020.
ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Approve the donation from Big Sky Economic Development for $6,000; or,
- Not Approve and provide staff with additional direction.
FISCAL EFFECTS
This donation of $6,000 is a matching contribution toward the NRDP challenge grant awarded for Coulson Park. There will be no budget impact to the City.
