RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Council accepts the $43,547.00 donation from Landon's Legacy Foundation for Poly Vista Park Development Phase I.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The Billings Parks, Recreation and Public Lands (PRPL) Department is partnering with the Landon's Legacy Foundation (LLF) to develop a Miracle League baseball field as part of the first phase of the development of Poly Vista Park. As part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), LLF agreed to split the design costs with PRPL for Poly Vista Park Development Phase I. The $43,547.00 donation is their portion of the fee.
ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Approve and accept the donation for $43,547.00 from Landon's Legacy Foundation; or,
- Not Accept the donation and provide staff with additional guidance.
FISCAL EFFECTS
There will be no initial fiscal effects to the City by accepting this donation. This donation fully funds the design portion of the Poly Vista Park Development Phase I.
