RECOMMENDATION
PRPL seeks Council consent to accept and utilize funds being donated by Big Sky Economic Development. The funds donated are in the amount of $25,000.00.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This request for Council consent is to accept and utilize funds in the amount of $25,000 donated by Big Sky Economic Development. Funds are part of the awarded matching grant program through PRPL from 2025. To not accept funds would not allow this project to be completed.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
This donation is in conjunction with PRPL's matching grant program. BSEDA applied for matching funds in 2025 and were awarded $14,148.00. Funds are to be utilized to purchase a monument boulder rock sign and have it installed at Coulson Park. Please see the attached file for approximate sign location.
FISCAL EFFECTS
PRPL expects little to no budget increase after project completion. PRPL does not expect to hire any FTEs, any work associated with the new sign can be handled by the current assigned park attendant. The project and funding has previously been approve through the matching grant program.
