PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
Sonya Scheetz, Alpha Omega Disaster Restoration, Laurel, Montana would like to donate kids' plastic fire helmets which have a total retail value of $700.00. Accepting this donation would provide the Fire Department with a popular giveaway for school fire safety programs, National Fire Prevention Week and fire station open house visits.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may approve and accept or may decline the donation of kids' plastic fire helmets from Alpha Omega Disaster Restoration.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact to the City.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the donation of kids' plastic fire helmets from Alpha Omega Fire Restoration, with a retail value $700.00, to be used as public education prizes.
