A fee increase of approximately 2% (see attached resolution) in the Cemetery will raise approximately $2,000 in additional funds per year in an average Cemetery use year. Cemetery fees were last increased on July 1, 2009. The Parks, Recreation and Cemetery Board approved the FY 2012 Cemetery fee request at the February 12, 2011 board meeting. A presentation on the proposed increase was made to the City Council at the February 22, 2011 Work Session. The proposed fee increase is intended to start with the new fiscal year on July 1, 2011.

Council approval will increase Mountview Cemetery fees.
