Approve the reappointment of Mr. Jim Lynch, Ms. Pat Edie, and Mr. Gary Brauchla to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a four year term ending December 31, 2016.
Background:
The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of nine members, three members apointed by each County Supervisor and residing in the respective Supervisorial District. Planning and Zoning Commissioners serve staggered four-year terms.
On December 31, 2012, the terms of District 1 Planning Commissioner Jim Lynch, District 2 Planning Commissioner Pat Edie, and District 3 Planning Commissioner Gary Brauchla will expire. Supervisors Pat Call, Ann English, and Richard Searle are recommending reappointment of the respective Commissioners for a four year term ending December 31, 2016.

Send re-appointment letter and oath of office to Mr. Lynch, Ms. Edie, and Mr. Brauchla, as outlined below in BOS Staff follow-up.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
There will be three vacancies on the Planning and Zoning Commission; one for each district.

Please send Mr. Lynch, Ms. Edie, and Mr. Brauchla the standard letter from the Board's Office affirming their reappointment along with administering the Oath of Office for each.
